Tip: Bins

Dear Brides,

One of my most organized brides had a great system for making sure everything needed for setting up the reception made it to the venue. Here's what she did:

  • First, she purchased some large, clear plastic bins
  • Each time she purchased or made something for the reception, she put it directly in the bins. 
  • Each bin also had a coordinating list that was added to each time she put something in the bin
  • The list was then taped to the outside of the bin
Picking up and returning her items was so easy! Also, I was able to use my time more efficiently because I didn't have to search for anything - I just had to check the lists. My bride didn't have to frantically search for anything she had stuck in some closet or drawer and didn't have to worry she had forgotten anything. 

Bins are good.
