Wedding planning is not my forte; Ellen was a lifesaver.  Before the wedding, Ellen kicked me into gear to make sure we hit various planning milestones that I had either procrastinated on or wasn't even aware existed.  During the wedding, she managed to communicate frequently and effectively with the staff of the ceremony site, our vendors, our families and of course, us - despite it being an interfaith wedding with some of our vendors speaking little, if any, English.  After our wedding, she promptly cleaned up and collected the various items we had left behind, even going so far as to mail things we had forgotten along the way after we'd moved.  Weddings can be stressful, time consuming, and exhausting - all things best to outsource so you can enjoy the celebration with friends and family.  Ellen earned every penny we paid her ten times over and I'd hire her again in a heartbeat!

Not only did Ellen help with my wedding, but I have also attended seven other weddings (many of which I was a part of the bridal or house party) that Ellen coordinated in some way. Thank God for Ellen! Her detail-oriented approach to weddings always keeps the bride's wishes central to the process. I have seen her on a ladder hanging bells, down on the ground spreading a sheet to protect a wedding dress, in the back of a church demonstrating to clueless ushers how to escort people to their seats, and out in front of massive bridal parties getting everyone to where they are supposed to be at the right time. Ellen takes care of the big items (what to wear) and the small items (having grapes and cheese on hand for a hungry bride). I've even seen her drive the mother-of-the-bride from the wedding site to the reception! Weddings can be stressful for brides, but Ellen helps you be able to focus on your joyful day as she takes care of the details.

We are so glad you were able to help make our special day even more special. You did a great job of reeling in rowdy groomsmen, making sure everyone knew where to be and when during the rehearsal. The day of, you were so prepared and took care of every minor detail. There were things that went wrong, but as the bride I had no idea because you handled it all! You even let my bridesmaids borrow your car to go get something I thought I had forgotten. We are so glad we had to you take care of all the small details. I was worried that some of the things I wanted weren't going to happen because obviously I couldn't be running around the church putting things out. You took care of all my requests and then more. Thanks for being an awesome day-of planner! I would definitely recommend you to friends who are looking to save some money, but also need a little bit of help.
